The Sanchez signings: An honest appraisal

I have listed the signings that Sanchez has made - that have actually played - and think they can be broadly categorised like this. Your comments would be very welcomed - as would a reminder of anyone I may have missed out.

All are listed in order - best to worst...

Good
Paul Konchesky
Hameur Bouazza
David Healy
Dejan Stefanovich

Average
Steven Davis
Aaron Hughes
Shefki Kuqi
Kasey Keller

Poor
Joe Kamara
Danny Murphy
Chris Baird
Seol Ki-Hyeon

I'd say:

Good

Konchesky - was initially terrific
Bouazza - looks like he could be a really good player
Healy - should still come good
Hughes - hardly put a foot wrong

Average

Davis - again, should come good
Keller - alright
Baird - not nearly as bad as people suggest, has had a few decent games since the early season jitters
Murphy - fine. Scored a couple of goals, threatened a couple of times, it's not his fault he's not a tackler. Has played pretty well as best I can tell
Stefanovic - prone to being on the scene of the crime whenever we concede, a dangerous habit
Kuqi - has been quite fun as a sub

Poor
Kamara - not happening yet
Seol - not much to say here. Underwhelming.

cheers rich, i think we're along similar lines, apart from murphy. i have been really disappointed with him. to me he seems lightweight and rarely manages to pass the ball to a white shirt...a shadow of his former self but may be he'll settle down.

Good

Konchesky

Might be alright

Healy
Hughes
Stefanovic
Davis

Utter shite

Seol
Kamara
Baird
Bouazza (am I the only one that thinks this bloke is poor - end product is woeful!)
Murphy
Kuqi (can't believe that people rate this lump of nothingness!)

Murphy and Davis are probably just too similar, and shouldn't be our entire central midfield. Would love to see either of them with Smertin (again) or Volz.

That's brilliant and have no idea why I'd not thought of that previously. They are far too much alike.
